Kerry Wing is a singer-songwriter from pacifica, california. He is a solo artist, and also is known for fronting the premiere ORIGINAL/CONSCIOUS reggae band Pacific Vibration. His music is upbeat & soulful, and is driven by His heartfelt songwriting, vocal harmonies and "lyrics that are aimed to make a change in the world”, according to Chuck Foster of The Beat Magazine. His commitment to his craft is what draws his large and loyal fan base and makes Kerry Wing's performances a transcending experience.
in 2012 Kerry released his full length debut solo album bio-electric love. the album was recorded on analogue tape with vintage gear in san francisco. In 2014, with Pacific Vibration, he released the album Irie Feeling on his own label, Drala Music. Three songs off the ten track album made CD Baby's Top 10 Reggae Singles for the first two months of it's release. The album has been played on radio stations locally and internationally. Their song, Everyday Angel, was on the Bay Area's commercial radio station, KFOG 104.5FM, and was featured on their Local Scene 11 compilation album. Kerry's music has been featured in foreign films soundtracks and on tV (ESPN, KRON, 90 Day Fiance)
In 2022, with the band, he dropped 4 singles, working with E.N Young (formerly of Tribal Seeds). each song has topped iTunes reggae charts (#23 worldwide) and have received commercial (Q103 Maui, KQED), local and international radio play. with the song Smile (written while visiting freinds on the island of st. kitts), kerry was interviewed for kqed radio's Music Drop. Their single ‘Truth’ features Akae Beka (Midnite), who recorded the vocals on the song shortly before his passing. The Single ‘november’ features Sidney Mills (steel pulse, ziggy marley) on keys. On the band's Spotify wrapped for the year, they had OVER 60k streams by 12k different listeners from 134 countries.
back In 2003, kerry wing met and became friends with Mikey Dread (reggae singer/producer who also worked with The Clash). he went on to work with and open up for Mikey at many shows up until his passing. Over the course of his career, he has pLayed locally and internationally alongside and worked with ARTISTS such as George Kahumoku Jr (grammy winner), Peter Rowan, SLIGHTLY STOOPID, SOJA, MYKAL ROSE, KYMANI MARLEY, The Elovators, Steel Pulse, Big Mountain, Fiji, Sizzla, Anuhea, Long Beach Short Bus (members of Sublime), Mikey Dread, The Expendables, The Coasters, Luciano, Groundation, DON CARLOS, FORTUNATE YOUTH, and Burning Spear.
