Our Story
Pacific Vibration is a premiere Cali/Island reggae band fronted Kerry Wing (Vocals and Guitar). The band consists of Darren Batara (Keys), Aidan Wing (Vocals and guitar), Toads Marcelino (Bass), Graham Roggli (Drums) and Ian Kemp (Percussion and Drums). The music is upbeat & soulful, and is driven by their heartfelt songwriting, vocal harmonies and "lyrics that are aimed to make a change in the world”, according to Chuck Foster of The Beat Magazine. Their commitment to their craft is what draws our large and loyal fan base and makes Pacific Vibration's performances a transcending experience.
In 2014 Pacific Vibration released the album Irie Feeling on their own label, Drala Music. Three songs off the ten track album made CD Baby's Top 10 Reggae Singles for the first two months of it's release. The album has been played on radio stations locally and internationally. Their song, Everyday Angel, was on the Bay Area's commercial radio station, KFOG 104.5FM, and was featured on their Local Scene 11 compilation album. In 2003, Pacific Vibration met and became friends with Mikey Dread (reggae singer/producer who also worked with The Clash). The band went on to work with and open up for Mikey Dread at many shows up until his passing.
In 2022 the band dropped 3 singles, working with E.N Young (formerly of Tribal Seeds). They each have topped iTunes reggae charts (#23 worldwide) and have received commercial (Q103 Maui, KQED), local and international radio play. Their single Truth featured Akae Beka (Midnite), who recorded the vocals on the song shortly before his passing. The music video has received nearly 40k views on Youtube. The band recently co-headlined Mateel's Summer Arts And Music Festival along side The Expendables. On the band's Spotify wrapped for the year, we had nearly 60k streams by 11.5k different listeners from 132 countries. Over the course of the band's career, Pacific Vibration have payed locally and internationally alongside big names such as Steel Pulse, Big Mountain, Fiji, Sizzla, The Elovators, Long Beach Short Bus (members of Sublime), Mikey Dread, The Expendables, Anuhea, The Coasters, Luciano, and Burning Spear.
